• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chilly - 3 numbers.
• Cucumber - 1 number.
• Chopped tamota - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chilly powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
In a pan add some oil, when oil is heated add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, coriander powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, salt, turmeric powder, and add tomato, saute them.
Add water and cook for 2 minutes add cucumber pieces, put the lid and reduce the flame and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
This curry is served with naan or chapatti or rice.
This tomato cucumber curry is native from Rajasthan as well as Gujarat .its an easy dish where cucumber cooked little crunch and infused in tomato based curry.
