1 cup raw rice
2 tbsp chana dal,tuvar dal,urad dal
3 red chillies
1/3 tbsp hing
Afew bits of curry leaves
1 onion finally chopped
salt to taste
Soak the rice and dals together for three-four hours.Grind it to a coarse paste adding all the ingredients except onions.Add more water to get a spreading consistency.Mix in the onions.Heat a non stick pan.smear a little oil,pour a leadleful of dough and spread it in to a thick adai.Make a whole in the center and pour 1/4 tbsp of oil and another spoon of oil around.cook on a medium flame till golden brown.Turn over and cook the other side.Serve pickle and curd.
