Healthy Fish Curry

Fish (Surmai, Mackerel) 1 medium
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Fresh Grated Cocomut 1 tsp
Tomato 1/2 No.
Tamaring 1/2 inch
Onion 1
Dried Coriander Seeds 1 tsp
Pepper 1/4 Tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Salt to taste


* Clean the fish and apply half the quantity of red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Then, keep aside to marinate.
* Grind finely a mixture of coconut, tomato, tamarind, half of the onion, remaining red chili powder and turmeric powder, coriander seeds, and pepper.
* Put oil into a vessel and add the remaining half of the onion (finely chopped). When it gets cooked, add the marinated fish and let it cook for 1 min. Then add the ground coconut-tomato mixture.
* Add little water and salt to taste. Remove from the fire when the curry boils.
* Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
