All purpose flour 100 Grams
Butter 60 grams
Milk 250 ml
Egg yolk 3 Numbers
Corn flour 1 Tablespoons
Caster sugar 75 Grams
Fresh cream 100 ml
Salt 1 Pinch
Vanilla essence 1/2 Teaspoons
Water As Required
Cinnamon powder 1/4 Teaspoons


1. Take a glass jar with milk, add egg yolk, caster sugar and mix it.
2. Add corn flour and mix, so that no lumps are formed.
3. Add fresh cream and mix nicely, pour it in a saucepan and switch on the flame.
4. Cook until it comes to thick consistency for 5 mins.
5. Once the mixture is thick add vanilla essence and switch off flame. 6. Take a bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, butter and mix nicely, later add water and mix to make a medium stiff dough, allow it rest for 10 mins.
7. Dust some flour and roll dough into thin sheet and apply butter, sprinkle cinnamon powder and caster sugar.
8. Roll it and cut like as shown in video. Dust some flour roll into small round sheet and place it on a greased tray.
9. Slightly give docking, pour the egg mixture until it is ¾ filled and sprinkle some more cinnamon powder.
10. Place in oven and bake it for 180 degree for 15 to 20 mins until nice golden colour is formed.
11. Demould it and serve it.


Egg tart is one of the delicacies that can be found in most Asian countries, especially in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
