Carbanzo Beans (Chic Peas) 8 Oz
ginger paste: 1 tsp
garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chillies 3
Salt to taste
Lemon 1/ juice from
Tomatoes diced 2
Onion chopped 1
Lettuce finely chopped 1/2 head
Cilantro chopped 1/2 bunch
Grated cheese any kind 4 Oz


Soak the chick peas for 3-4 hrs or you can use the canned carbanzo beans right away. Grind Carbanzo beans, ginger, garlic and green chillies to a paste adding little bit of water in food processor or blender. Add the lemon juice and salt and mix well. Keep aside this hummus paste aside.
Butter your naan and warm it up in a tawa, or oven as you normally do.
Apply the hummus paste liberally, add chopped tomatoes, onions, and lettuce
and top it with your favorite grated Mozerella or Cheddar cheese. Fold it and cut into half and enjoy. You can use low fat or non fat cheese if you are calorie conscious.
