Ingredients
-1 cup soya chunks
-1 onion (finely chopped)
-1 tomato (pureed or chopped)
-1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
-1/2 tsp turmeric
-1 tsp red chili powder
-1 tsp garam masala
-1/2 tsp coriander powder
-Salt to taste
-2 tbsp oil
-Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Directions
- Boil soya chunks in water with a pinch of salt for 5–7 mins. Drain, rinse in cold water, and squeeze out excess water.
- In a pan, heat oil. Sauté onions until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste; cook until raw smell disappears.
- Add tomatoes and cook till oil separates.
- Add spices and sauté.
- Add soya chunks and a bit of water. Simmer for 10 mins.
- Garnish with coriander.
