Carrot ,Mung dal salad

Main Ingredient: Carrots , Split mung Dal, Raw coconut, lemon juice
Time to Prepare: 10 minutes.


Carrots 2 ( grated)
Split Mung dal 1/2 cup ( washed and soaked in water for 1 hr)
Raw coconut (optinal) 1/2 cup
Green chilis to taste
Lemon juice to taste
salt to taste.
Cilantro some washed and chopped.


Soak the dal in water for one hour. Drain the dal and keep it in a bowl.
Grate the carrots and add to the bowl.
Add the raw coconuts, salt chilis and some cilantro and mix well. You can add some roasted peanuts If you like crunchy.

Put the salad in a bowl or dish level that. The salad has saffon(carrots)green(cilantro)and white( coconut) You can store some of each and decorate in the form of a Indian flag or circles in colors and in the center you can keep a grape.It looks colorful.
