Capsicum Salad

Dish: Vegetarian - Salads


Red bell pepper, seeded and sliced into thin strips - 1 Large
Green bell pepper, seeded and sliced into thin strips - 1 large
Green chili, seeded and cut into rings - 1 long
Red chilies, seeded and cut into rings - 2
Purple onion, peeled and cut into rings- 1
Small jar of green chilies - 1
Lean cut ham - ½ cup
Swiss cheese -½ cup

For The Dressing:

Garlic cloves, crushed - 3
Hot chili - 1 small
Vegetable oil - 1/3 cup
Cider vinegar - ¼ cup
Sugar - ¼ tsp
Italian seasonings - ¼ tsp
Fresh dill - ¾ tsp
Dijon mustard ( the kind with seeds ) - ½ tsp
Cayenne powder - ¼ tsp



1.Toss the first eight ingredients together in a bowl and chill.

2.Put all the remaining ingredients into a blender and whirl until creamy

3.Pour over the salad and toss lightly. Serve chilled
