Fish Briyani

Ingredients
To marinate Fish:

2TSP - LIME JUICE
1TSP - Garam masala
1TSP - Red Chilly pwd
1TSP - GINGER & GARLIC PASTE
4TSP - Besan
pinch- Red color
Salt - to taste
GRAVY
-----
1 big - Onion(sliced finely)
6-8 - green chillies chop
1tsp - ginger & garlic paste
3tbsp - sour cream
salt - to taste
1/4tsp - tumeric
Rice Ingredients

2pounds - Briyani rice
3 - Bay leaves
each 3 - lavang & elachi
stick of dalchi
1tsp - ginger & garlic paste
10 - mint leaves (chopped)
salt - to taste
To dam the briyani
------------------
2 - key lime juice
2tbsp - butter
1/4cup - fried onions(optional)
1/4cup - chopped corriander leaves
Directions
Step 1:
* In a bowl take all the marinated ingredients except fish pcs.* mix well and add very little to make a fine paste(do add to much water).* now add the fish pcs marinate it for 1/2 to 1 hr.
*Later, heat the oil and fry the fish in medium flame till it turns to crispy. Do not turn them black. (Slowly the crispyness forms on the fish). keep aside
Step 2:

*bring the water to boil and add ginger garlic paste,elachi, lavang, dalchi, bayleaves and salt . now add the rice. Cook the rice until almost done and drain the water.keep aside.
step:3

*Heat 4tbsp oil,(fish fried oil can be used).Fry onions and chilles. then add gingergarlic paste, tumeric and salt. fry for 2mins.If any marinated fish masala remains add to onions stir for 3mins. then add mintleaves, sour cream. stir for another 3mins.Off the flame and add the fried fish pcs.mix well keep aside.
step 4:

Now preheat the oven at 400 F heat. In a baking pan grease the butter evenly on the bottom and sides. spread the rice evenly. Sprinkle the lime juice and corriander . Top with the fish gravey. cover with the foil and bake it for 10-15mins.
*before serving add fried onions and mix well slowly and serve
