In most countries, college degree is a prized possession. People work hard to earn one. The burning of midnight oil, the stress and strain of examinations, and the tension of waiting for the final results is finally rewarded in form of prized degree. In some countries degrees are also unfortunately sold for a price.
However a degree is no guarantee to promotion. For that one has to surely prove himself. Possession of a college degree has provided a platform to get recruited in a well reputed company.
It provides the person with an opportunity to prove his true worth. He will have to work hard and with dedication. He will need to fully exercise his skills, which he learned in the course of his education.
He will have to exhibit his team spirit and work well with his colleagues. He will also need to respect his seniors and show that he values their advice and suggestions. He will need to serve the customers and clients with diligence and sincerity.
He will have to learn the time management skills to adhere to the tight schedule of deadlines. He also needs to be very polite while dealing with his seniors.
After all this if he is lucky to get a promotion, he needs to silently bow his head in gratitude to god, and say ‘Thank You’ to his boss.
