-1 cup rice flour
-Salt
-Chilli Powder
-Jeera
-Oil
-Onion finely chopped (Thin semi slices)
-Turmeric
- In a bowl, place rice flour, and then incorporate the necessary amount of salt, chili powder, sliced onions, cumin seeds, and a pinch of turmeric. Thoroughly blend these ingredients together. Gradually add a small amount of water, ensuring the dough reaches a semi-dry consistency, allowing it to easily drop into the hot oil.
- Next, heat a pan with oil for deep frying. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the dough mixture into the hot oil. Let them fry until they attain a golden brown color, ensuring they cook thoroughly. Once done, remove the pakodas from the oil and serve them in a bowl.
This is a quick snack for those who don't want to eat besan (gram flour). It's simple to make.
