Tomato rice

Time to Prepare: 30 minutes


Broken cashewnuts 1tbsp
Channadal 1/2tsp
Chilli pdr to taste
Chopped coriander
Chopped ginger 1piece
Chopped gr chilli 2piece
Cooked rice 4cup
Cumin 1pinch
Curry leaves 1springs
Fennel seeds
Garammasala pdr 1pinch
Ghee oil 1tbsp
Hing (optional) 1pinch
Mint (optional)
Mustard 1pinch
Onion 1/2
Red chilli 3
Salt to taste
Tomato 3
Urad dal 1/2tsp


Heat some oil and add the red chillies,mustard ,cumin .

Add channadal ,urad dal and broken cashew nuts and add hing.

When they turn color, add the chopped onions and fry them till they turn transperent.

Add chopped gr chilli and curry leaves and tomatoes.

Fry for 5 minutes.Add any spices and keep frying for a minute.

Add the boiled rice and adjust the seasoning.
