Bottle Gourd Halwa

Seedless white bottle gourd - 2 cup.
Almonds (sliced) - 6 no.
Cashewnuts - 5 no.
Sugar - 1 cup.
Milk - 500 ml.
Ghee - half cup.
Raisins - 10 no.
Koya - 1 cup.


Peel and grate bottle gourd.
Take a pan, add Ghee,cashewnuts,almonds,raisins,mix it well till they change the colour, then add grated bottle gourd and mix it. Let it cook for about 5 to 10 min in slow flame and keep mixing it.
Then add Milk stir it,if you want to add colour to it you can add green colour and keep mixing.
Now add sugar to it and mix. Then add Koya to it, keep mixing for 5 minutes.


Doodhi halwa or lauki ka halwa is actually a conventional dessert that everyone includes a reason to like-some for the flavor, some for the amazing benefits of doodhi and milk, and a few for the cozy experience it instils on the rainy day! An extremely healthy recipe because it consists of lauki or bottle gourd, milk and dry fruits. Doodhi ka halwa is an extremely easy recipe however quite scrumptious and lip smacking.
