Pumpkin Dessert

Diffculty: Easy and tasty.


1.Pumpkin pieces about 2 cup
2.Sugar or jaggery( to taste )2-3 table spoons
3.salt 1/4 teaspoon
4 cardomom powder 1/2 teaspoon
5 cashew pieces 2 table spoon
6 coconut milk 1 can
7 ghee or butter to fry cashew.


1.Wash the pumpkin,peel the skin,remove the seeds and peel the soft part away. Cut the meat part into cubical small pieces.about 2 measuring cups
2.In a deep pan,put 2 table spoon of ghee cashew pieces and fry on slow fire till they turn reddish. Take them out to a plate.
3 Put the cut pumpkin pieces into the ghee and saute for half a minute on slow fire.
4. Add the sugar or jaggery,salt and 1/4 cup water. Toss well.
5.Add the coconut milk and cardomom powder cook for one minute. Pumpkin must not become soft.
6 Add cashew pieces and serve.

All natural ingredients. Very healthy food.
