Pearl Millet Pancake with Walnuts & Nutella (Bajra Millet)

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup pearl millet flour (bajra atta)

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs, well beaten or 2 flax eggs (recipe of Flax Eggs )

2 cups cold milk

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

honey for serving

sliced bananas or other fresh fruits

Nutella and walnuts for serving


To begin making the Pearl Millet Pancakes, stir together wheat flour, millet flour, baking powder and salt.

Add eggs or Flax Eggs, milk, and oil and whisk until well blended.

Heat skillet to medium heat. Pour a ladle full of the pearl millet pancake mixture on the skillet. Do not spread the mixture on the skillet, once pour it on a hot skillet it creates on its own a boundary point .

Cook until bubbles form and edges start to fry. Flip over and cook until lightly browned.

Serve the Pearl Millet Pancakes along with Nutella, walnuts, bananas drizzled with honey or any other seasonal fruit of your choice for breakfast or pack into the kids snack box.
