Raw plantain(grated) 1 Numbers
Potato(boiled and mashed)1/4 Cup
Curry leaves 1 Springs
Green chillies paste 1 Tablespoons
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoons
Amchoor powder 1 Teaspoons
Spring onion 1/4 Cup
Red chilli flakes 1 Teaspoons
Chickpea flour 1 Tablespoons
Curd 1 Cup
Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Chat masala 1/2 Teaspoons
Red chilly powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Onions 1 Numbers
Sev 1/2 Cup
Green chutney 1 Tablespoons
Sweet red chutney 1 Tablespoons
Fresh coriander leaves 1 Bunch


1. Peel out raw plantain skin and grate it.

2. Now add boiled and mashed potato, curry leaves, green chillies paste, cumin seeds, amchoor powder, spring onion, red chilli flakes, salt and mix it.

3. Now add chickpea flour and mix again.

4. Make small dumplings and flatten them, then deep fry them in hot oil.

5. Take them out on tissue paper once they become golden brown.

6. Arrange the vadas on slices of tomatoes and add curd, cumin powder, chat masala, red chilly powder, onions, sev, green chutney, sweet red chutney, fresh coriander leaves.
