
-1 carrot (chopped)
-1 beetroot (chopped)
-1 small onion (chopped)
-2 garlic cloves
-1 tsp butter or olive oil
-1/4 tsp black pepper
-Salt to taste
-Water (as needed)
-Fresh cream (optional)
- Heat butter, add garlic and onion – saute.
- Add carrot & beetroot, cook 2 minutes.
- Add water, salt and boil till soft. Cool, blend, then heat again.
- Sprinkle pepper, add cream, serve warm.
