
-Rava/Sooji – 1 cup
-Sugar – 3/4 cup (powdered)
-Ghee – 1/4 cup (melted)
-Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
-Cashews – 8–10 (chopped)
-Raisins – 1 tbsp
-Milk (optional) – 2–3 tbsp (to bind if needed)
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast sooji on low flame until it turns light golden and aromatic. Keep aside to cool slightly.
- In the same pan, add 1 tsp ghee and fry cashews and raisins. Remove and keep aside.
- Powder the sugar (if not already) and mix it with cardamom powder. Add roasted rava, dry fruits, and sugar-cardamom mix in a bowl.
- Pour the remaining melted ghee and mix. If needed, sprinkle some warm milk to help bind.
- Shape the mixture into small ladoos while still warm. Let them rest for 15–20 minutes. Store in an airtight box.
