Wheat flour 1 Cup
Soda Pinch
Ajwain 1/4 Teaspoons
Salt 0
Ghee 1 Tablespoons
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
For stuffing :
Roasted chana dal 1/2 Cup
Mustard oil 1 Tablespoons
Kalonji 1/2 Teaspoons
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoons
Garlic(chopped) 3 Numbers
Ginger (inch) 2 Piece
Green chilli 3 Numbers
Coriander leaves 1/2 Bunch
Potatoes (boiled) 150 Grams


Take a bowl add wheat flour, soda, ajwain, salt, ghee, yogurt mix it well and add required water make it like a soft dough, cover it and keep it aside. For stuffing : Heat 1 tbsp of mustard oil, add kalonji, cumin seeds, finely chopped garlic and ginger, green chilli, onion and salt mix it well and switch off the flame, add chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice and roasted gram flour or sattu mix it well. Now divide the dough into equal portions, and make it like a small patty. Then fill in the center of the patty and close it from all sides. Put all the litties on a baking tray and bake till one side is brown. Then turnover the litti and bake for few more minutes until other side also brown. For chokka : Heat a pan add coriander seeds, red chilli dry roast them and add this to pistol, also add garlic, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves, crush it nicely. Take big Eggplant and two tomatoes and two onions roast on the on medium flame from both sides until it becomes soft. Peel of the burnt skin of the brinjal, tomato and onions. Put these into pistol and crushed it nicely. Take a bowl add crushed mixture, salt, boiled and mashed potatoes, chopped coriander, lime juice mix it well, chokka is ready. Dip the litties into the ghee and serve with chokka
