500ml 100% pomegranate juice
Golden caster sugar 200g
Dissolve the sugar in 100ml water in a saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes. Leaves to cool. Mix the sugar syrup with the juice then churn in an ice cream machine. Freeze until needed. If you do not have an ice cream machine, freeze overnight. Remove and churn in the mixer. Refreeze and churn again before serving.
