Fish In Spicy Coconut Cream Recipe

2 teaspoon peanut oil
2 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 small fresh red chilies
375 ml water or fish stalk
1 bundle of lemon grass
2 tablespoon fish sauce
2 tablespoon fish sauce
2 spring onion
750 gm bekti fish
1 teaspoon sugar


Step 1: Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger- garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.

Step 2: Add fish stalk, coconut cream, pieces of ginger, salt and lemon grass and boil.

Step 3: Now place fish pieces in the mixture and boil for 8-10 minutes in low heat.

Step 4: After 10 minutes pour lemon grass and fish sauce. Stir thoroughly. Add pieces of spring onion and stir properly.

Step 5: Serve the spicy fish curry dip in coconut cream with hot plain rice.


These fish chunks dipped in coconut cream suit very well to the Indian cuisine making it a delicious evening recipe. Serving hot with plain rice makes this healthy dish suitable for feeding your appetite besides taking care of your taste buds. Fish sauce, lemon grass and sugar give fish pieces a sweet and sour taste.
