Ragi Vada (Veg and Non-Veg)

Ragi flour 1 cup
Peanuts 1/4 cup
Roasted chana 1/4 cup
Chopped Onions 1 medium
Coriander leafs
Chopped chillies - 6


Make a coarse powder of roasted chana and peanut together.

Take a large bowl and mix the above powder, ragi flour, finely chopped onion, chillies,coriander, chopped dates or fig.

Add required amount of water and make a dough not too soft to make round patties.

Fry the patties in a thick bottom frying pan.

Non-Veg version
Add half cup of chicken mince to the above mixture and follow the same as above for Non-veg/chicken mince ragi vada.

Nutritional info

Ragi has some good number of Essential Amino Acids (EAA) which are essential for human body.
